Identity & Key Visual
To celebrate its 15th year anniversary, PACA&CO. was invited to design a logo to celebrate this milestone; as well as a key visual for an international conference.
The brief was open with the only requirement to show ‘15’ numerically and the BEAM logo. We gathered all the visual assets such as colour and typography. To maintain some form of brand consistency and characteristics. We submitted several options, with variations of typography, leaf graphic and icons.
The final design was a crafted letter ‘15’ that resembles the lines and curves of the BEAM logotype. The number ‘5’ drops below the baseline to loop back to ‘1’. This created a window for a small architectural icon. The BEAM logo sits to the right with the anniversary text in Chinese and English aligned below. This simple and smart logo is well proportioned and legible under small sizes. Enabling it to be easily applicable on all sorts of medium.
For the international conference the theme was ‘Pathways to Carbon Neutrality’. After many rounds of designs, the client chose a futuristic skyline image with green landscape. Light streak representing pathways connects the eleven aspect icons; And a 3D render of BEAM’s mascot (Dr. BEAM) stands proudly on the side looking towards the message. The overall key visual is striking and impactful. Shown below are some examples of the key visual in different size banners and posters.
